Hi ho,
Despite the kids going back to school and attempting to settle back into our usual routine
I have surprisingly been
rather creative this week
(always a good sign)
Firstly I have to share the Faux fur coat I picked up at a local op shop
(by the way - thats my serious butterfly gazing look!)
Anyway, apparently this brand is rather sought after
and it's made of 40% acrylic, 40% modacrylic and 10% cotton!
But what would I know? - I'm just looking for a bargain (right?)
and I think it was at a mere $15.
Anyway as the week progressed I managed to knock up a few cushion covers using my scraps and some of the lovely fabric samples our dear Carole over at
sent me for the Jubilee Swap.
My lounge is already a rather colourful mish-mash (or was that messy?)
But you can never have enough colour right???
I've also been working on a few little numbers for another lovely lass
almost there on this one!
I've started a wee production line of hip hugging
A line skirts for future markets
(again using up what fabrics I could find in my archives)
and I received a parcel of joy from a certain Arty-Zombie who sent me these gorgeous fabrics
on the right hand side!
Me thinks a few more frock creations are in the pipeline!!
I am also shamelessly plugging these Woolworth brand fleecy lined
footless tights!
My best coffee chatting, craft inspiring girlfriend
(you know who you are)
recommended these a wee while back and they have been the best $7.99
I've spent in a long time!
Sorry to all you international non Woolworth's supermarket going colourful stocking wearing girls
they only come in BLACK.
But hey, who's complaining if they have kept my luscious legs warm all winter!
and finally just incase you arent yet over-stimulated by all my happenings
I HAD to show you a few photos I spied on
(I won't bite if you LIKE me!!!)
compliments of
(now that sure is my kinda Glamping!!!)
then I found this
compliments of
and I couldn't resist sharing it!
Ain't it fab!!!
Anyway lovely's I better go get me some beauty sleep!
Who knows what tomorrow will bring
xoxoxoxox
Oh oh oh! I thought the faux fur, the colours on the dress you are making, and all those fab cushions were gorgeous enough - THEN you show us that caravan and that naughty lounging flirty trolley dolly! Wonderful! xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!I love vintage prints!
ReplyDeleteOk, so now I NEED a caravan bar! Thanks for adding to my life list ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat trolley dolly's been a favourite of mine forever, the air hostesses today are so dull by comparison!
ReplyDeleteLove your latest creation , that ace fake fur and the delectable stack of cushions! x
Gorgeous cushions. I really, really like them.
ReplyDeleteI love all those cushions - our apartment is rather a bore, seen as it was already furnished when we moved in. I've been feeling for a while I should make some cushions...perhaps I can make some with all the "Leftover" fabric pieces, there are a LOT of them.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend xoxo
The cushions are fabulous!!!! I love the mix of such great fabrics. You are so clever. The dress is super cute.
ReplyDeleteMr furry coat was such a wonderful find and you look scrumptious in it.
Have a lovely weekend.

Ooh those cushions are SPLENDIFEROUS! I especially love the yellow one! I am super duper excited for my next ODB creations!!! I wear the fleece lined tights (same same but with feet) and I couldn't agree more - they are toasty warm and delicious - I just wish they came in COLOURS! Happy weekend gorgeous! Big hugs, Sarah xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat coat! Gorgeous cushions and frock.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much for the tip off about the fleecy tights! Ran into Woolies and bought myself 2 pairs and they are perfect for my Tassie Winter :)
Those leggings are amazing! We have a Woolworths here but alas I don't think they stock those! Love the coat and that dress is gorgeous! x
